Panax ginseng cause induced insulin

Saturday, August 4, 2012 Tags: , ,

Panax ginseng cause induced insulin secretion in rats.

Increased secretion acetylcholine by the Panax ginseng cause induced insulin secretion in rats.

Trials will be used rats that starving let it get the panax ginseng by feeding. It was found that after feeding for 90 minutes, blood glucose levels of rats decline by effect is dependent on the amount of this herbal from feeding. Which reduced level of sugar in the blood, it coincides with the increased levels of insulin and C-peptide in blood.

Panax ginseng has the ability to increase secretion acetylcholine

In trials it was found that if annoy the acetylcholine generating. Either by inhibition of choline uptake (hemicholinium-3) or vesicular choline transport (vesamicol). It will inhibit metabolic action of the panax ginseng. On the other hand, if using Physostigmine, which inhibits the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, it makes the effect of ginseng increases. It is possible that the effect of this herb root secretions acetylcholine of nerve endings when induced to secrete insulin and inhibitory effect of ginseng by 4-diphenylacetoxy-N-methylpiperdine methiodide (compound inhibits muscarinic M3 receptor), it helps to support that the effect of this root occurs at muscarinic M3 receptor.

The results of Panax ginseng of this test

The results have shown that Panax ginseng has the ability to increase secretion acetylcholine from nerve endings of rat and stimulate muscarinic M3 receptor in the cells of the pancreas and causes the secretion of insulin increases, which has resulted in the lower blood sugar levels. This is test of polysaccharides extract of ginseng to reduce fatigue.

This is test of polysaccharides extract of Panax ginseng to reduce fatigue.

To test the effect of the polysaccharides extract of ginseng to reduce fatigue. This research was conducted in groups of 13 male rats. In each group will have 8 rats.

First group will be assigned to the control group. This group will be fed with saline and no to forced swim test.

Group 2, fed with saline and forced swim test.

The results showed that polysaccharide extracts of Panax ginseng reduce disruption (immobility) of rats when forced swim test.

Group 3-13, fed with ginseng polysaccharide (WGP), 50, 100 and 200 mg / kg, neutral (WGPN) 40, 100, 160 and 200 mg / kg and acidic (WGPA) 40, 100, 160 and 200 mg / kg, respectively, and rats to forced swim test.

Filled with saline and polysaccharide on mice, we will feed every day for 15 consecutive days. The forced swim test is performed on the last day of fed after feeding rats one hour. The record of the test and blood samples from mice in all groups to examine the function of the enzyme.

It is found that all three types of Panax ginseng extract, makes the blood glucose rise.

The results of Panax ginseng extracts

The results showed that polysaccharide extracts of the panax ginseng reduce disruption (immobility) of rats when forced swim test. It was found that the effect of WGPA consumption (dose) of less than WGP and WGPN. It is found that all three types of the panax ginseng extract, makes the blood glucose rise, increase the level of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase, and reduce creatine phosphokinase, lactic dehydrogenase and malondialdehyde.

The results showed that polysaccharide extracts of this herb is effective in reducing the fatigue.

It also found that Panax ginseng root contains compounds that are beneficial to the body.

Ginsenosides types found in the present, it contains ingredients with 6 types of Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd, Re and Rg. The rest is a secondary effects substance that is Rb3, Ra, Ra1, Ra3, RO, R1, Rg2, Rg3, Rh1 and carboxylic acids derivatives. In addition, it also found that Panax ginseng root contains compounds that are beneficial to the body and much more such as essential oils, flour, sugar, vitamins and amino acids and peptides.

Panax ginseng consists of Ginsenosides that different.

Panax ginseng consists of Ginsenosides that different.

It is determining the value of the panax ginseng. From the analysis and verification by modern science and technology, the same type of this herbal, but different planting areas and different ages. It consists of this substance that different and the amount of it is not equal.

Ginsenosides consists in all part of Panax ginseng.

Ginsenosides consists in all part of Panax ginseng.

It was also found that the substance that accumulates in the parts of the ginseng, it is not the same. That is the root or body has total only 1.5%, while the roots are 3-4%, and head has up to 5-9%.

Therefore, the value of the panax ginseng is not in the shape of the ginseng, but depending on the amount of Ginsenosides and completeness of each type of it in liminal the appropriate section.
