This is test of polysaccharides extract of Panax ginseng to reduce fatigue.

To test the effect of the polysaccharides extract of ginseng to reduce fatigue. This research was conducted in groups of 13 male rats. In each group will have 8 rats.

First group will be assigned to the control group. This group will be fed with saline and no to forced swim test.

Group 2, fed with saline and forced swim test.

The results showed that polysaccharide extracts of Panax ginseng reduce disruption (immobility) of rats when forced swim test.

Group 3-13, fed with ginseng polysaccharide (WGP), 50, 100 and 200 mg / kg, neutral (WGPN) 40, 100, 160 and 200 mg / kg and acidic (WGPA) 40, 100, 160 and 200 mg / kg, respectively, and rats to forced swim test.

Filled with saline and polysaccharide on mice, we will feed every day for 15 consecutive days. The forced swim test is performed on the last day of fed after feeding rats one hour. The record of the test and blood samples from mice in all groups to examine the function of the enzyme.

It is found that all three types of Panax ginseng extract, makes the blood glucose rise.

The results of Panax ginseng extracts

The results showed that polysaccharide extracts of the panax ginseng reduce disruption (immobility) of rats when forced swim test. It was found that the effect of WGPA consumption (dose) of less than WGP and WGPN. It is found that all three types of the panax ginseng extract, makes the blood glucose rise, increase the level of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase, and reduce creatine phosphokinase, lactic dehydrogenase and malondialdehyde.

The results showed that polysaccharide extracts of this herb is effective in reducing the fatigue.
